Kanchenjunga Trek (8,585m) is considered as the third highest peak in the world. The word Kanchenjunga actually refers to five great treasuries of the snow and the mountain in real has seven main peaks. Set on the eastern boundary of Nepal, Kanchenjunga embraces a great vista of mountains, varieties of plants and animals and well-off local culture.

This magnificent trek begins from the small runway at Suketar-Taplejung, in the far-flung, northeast corner of Nepal. From Suketar, we ill move to Chauki passing through the villages of Mitlung, Khambachen, Ghunsa and Lhonak to Pangpema (5,140m) which is the base camp for trekking to the North Face of Kanchenjunga II. Trek to Kanchenjunga will let you walk all the way through pleasant Limbu and Rai villages and peaceful forests to the superb South Face Base Camp at Ramche, prior to crossing the Mirgin La (pass) that lies to the north side of Kanchenjunga. Reaching the Kanchenjunga Base Camp, we will witness giant north face of Kanchenjunga. Here, you will mark snow-capped edges and also witness Jongsang Peak, Tent Peak, Pyramid Peak and the enormous peaks of Kanchenjunga. Then after, we can witness amazing views of Jannu and the vast south face of Kanchenjunga.

Day 24: Final Departure from Kathmandu
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu transfers to hotel.
After onset to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel by the representative of Gorakhakali Travel and Tours. You will be briefed about the plans trekking. You have a free afternoon in the hotel you can relax.

Day 02: Fly to Biratnagar.
With a 45 minutes flight today we will move to Biratnagar departing from Kathmandu. On arrival in Biratnagar, we can rest or go around. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Drive by bus to Suketar and Lali Kharka.
From Biratnagar, we will again take a 30-minute air travel to Suketar, Taplejung. From Suketar, you will head to Lali Kharka with the trekking team. En- route, we will walk by rich pastures and wonderful settlements. After a few descents, we will arrive at Lali Kharka which will be the final point for today to stay overnight.

Day 04: Suketar to trek Mitlang.
From Shuketar, we will begin our real trek from where we will move down to Mitlung. We traverse the Hungdewa River and the out of control Tamur River. We will spend overnight at camp in Mitlung.

Day 05: Trek to Chirwa (1190m).
From Mitlang, we will make our way up to the hill for some time. Then after, we go down to the Sinwa community and go on trekking to Tawa. Then, after a few hour walk, we will move uphill and downhill to reach Chirwa which is a tiny Limbu village. Overnight in Chirwa today.

Day 06: Trek to Sakathum (1640m).
Today too we will have a way uphill for some time and then descend down to the lush vegetation. Then, we will go after the Tamur River to get to the OlangChungGola, the access point to Kanchenjunga National Park. Then after, we arrive at Sekathum where we will place our camp. Overnight at camp in Sakathum.

Day 07: Trek to Amjilassa (2490m).
On this day we will trek to Amjilassa from Sakathum. We have a demanding day today. We traverse the stream and go up on the vertical path and then move down to another side and traverse again the river again. We walk ascending and downhill and to end the trek for today, we will reach Amjilassa. Overnight at camp in Amjilassa. 

Day 08: Trek to Gyabla (2730m).
From Amjilassa, we trek on the river shore and pass all the way through the thick forest of rhododendron, and bamboo. En route, we take pleasure from the amazing natural landscape as well as the views of the waterfalls. Then we arrive at one more Tibetan settlement, Gyabla. Overnight at our camp in Gyabla.

Day 09: Trek to Ghunsa (3410m).
Our path today makes way downward to the river valley from Gyabra in order to reach Ghunsa. After trekking for some hours, we get to at the well-known Sherpa Village of Ghunsa which has the hydroelectric plant. It is also the set where over 20 well-known conservationists met their terrible stop in the helicopter crash. Overnight at our camp in Ghunsa.

Day 10: Rest day or acclimatization at Ghunsa.
Today, we will have a day rest for acclimatization in Ghunsa. The troubles and ways to be in safe hands about high elevation sickness will be briefed by your guide. One can take a trip around to see the sights of Ghunsa. We make a short walk to the Lapsang La all the way through a lush forest. Overnight at our camp in Ghunsa.

Day 11: Trek to Khambachen (4150m).
From Ghunsa, we will move persistently on our trek to the north next to the river bank. We walk through the elevated land and see trees and vegetation. We traverse several suspension bridges above the river, and go by waterfalls and to end with, we will reach Kambachen. Overnight at our campsite.

Day 12: Trek to Lhonak (4790m).
This day, we will go up through the rock-strewn fields and rocks on the hillside all along the river bank. We go by a waterfall and traverse the bridge to Ramtang. Then to finish our trek for today we move downward to the river and arrive at Lhonak. Overnight at our camp in Lhonak.

Day 13: Trek from Lhonak to Kanchenjunga North Base Camp (5140m).
This day, we will wander next to the periphery of the glacier in the falling path on grassy routes. We see the captivating sight of the Chang Himal. To conclude, we arrive at the Kanchenjunga North Base Camp. Overnight at our camp.

Day 14: Trek back to Khambachen (4150m).
We will depart from Khambache today. We will retrace our trail to Lhonak and go on downward the valley to reach Ramtang. On the way, we will have an opportunity to take pleasure from the panoramic vistas of Kanchenjunga, Taple Shikhar, Gimmigela Chuli, Kirat Chuli and several more. Finally, we move down to Kambachen by the evening. Overnight at our camp in Khambachen.

Day 15: Trek back to Gunsa (3410m).
Today, we will go back over our trail to arrive at Ghunsa. Overnight at our campsite in Ghunsa.

Day 16: Trek to Selele Kharka.
Today, we stroll up in the vertical paths from Ghunsa to reach Sele Le. After a short time, we arrive at Ghunsa community and after that go on uphill all the way through the thick forest of juniper, moss, and rhododendron. Overnight at our campsite in Selele Kharka.

Day 17: Trek over Selele Pass - trek down to Tseram (3900m).
Today, we go up uphill enjoying the stirring vistas of Jannu Himal. This day, we go by a number of passes like the Mirgin La, Sinion La, and the Sinelapche La. From the passes, we observe the extraordinary sight of the Himalayas. To end with we arrive at Tseram. Overnight at our campsite in Tseram.

Day 18: Trek to Ramche (4620m) to Tseram.
This day, we go up the hill passing through the muzzle of the Yalung Glacier. Then, we travel around the vale. Today, we will go back over our way to Tseram. We hike downhill today.

Day 19: Trek from Tseram to Yamphudin (1690m).
Today also we stroll in the moving path. We move down to Yamphudin, a village inhabited by diverse racial groups including Sherpas, Rais, Limbus, and Gurungs. Overnight in Yamphudin.

Day 20: Trek from Yamphudin to Anpan
This day, at first we will go after the Kabeli River. Also, after some time, we climb through the cardamom woods; pass by not many villages. And to conclude, we go down further to Anpan.

Day 21: Trek from Anpan to Taplejung.
This day, we will move ahead to Taplejung from Anpan. We will also the Taplejung Bazaar. Overnight in Taplejung.

Day 22: Trek from Taplejung to Suketar (2400m).
From Taplejung, we will go back to Sukhetar. After walking climbing sometimes, we arrive at the STOL airfield of Sukhetar.

Day 23: Flight from Suketar to Biratnagar and again flight to Kathmandu.
In the morning, you will take up a flight to Biratnagar. And after that, in the afternoon, you will take the air travel to Kathmandu.

Day 24: Final Departure from Kathmandu.
Today you will head off from this wonderful Himalayan homeland, Nepal.  We look forward to meeting you again.
