This past January I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek. From the moment I stepped off the plane in Lukla to the moment I boarded my plane bound for Kathmandu in Lukla I didn’t want this adventure to end. This was due to the immaculate scenery, fun group and our amazing guide Jhalak Simkhada.
As as a guide, Jhalak was all you can ask for an even more so. One can tell by the way he conducts his guiding that there will not be much on the trails that will come as a suprise to Jhalak. He is a confident leader from both the front and from behind, meaning that as a more independent type I was free to wonder and explore as I saw fit but when Jhalak perceived we were entering in areas of higher risk he corralled our group together and made sure we made the journey to the Everest Base Camp safely.
The EBC trek is bound to make your friends and family green with envy and for your trek you deserve nothing but the best guide. Please take my reccomendstion and ask for Jhalak as your guide! Alex Wilson from Bay Village, OH
