Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu trek is one of the popular and adventurous trekking passes in Nepal. The way to this pass is fairly contracted and there is a danger of rock falling. Trekkers will be cautious during a trek. Trekkers will observe vistas crossways through the vale to the peaks of the Langtang range as well as the Shishapangma which is really mesmerizing. The pass requires the skill to use climbing equipment.

Ganjala Pass Trek starts from Syabrubesi; from here you will walk all along the Langtang River lying to the east part until you arrive at Kyanching Gompa (3049m). On the south from Kyanching Gompa, you will see the peaks of Naya Kanga (5846m) while to the south-east, we will witness Ponggen

When you are passing through the pass there are spectacular sceneries of Langtang Lirung as well as the Tibetan peaks beyond. While you arrive at to Lauribinayak, we will see a spendthrift view of Dhaulagiri, Ganesh Himal, Annapurna and Langtang Lirung. It is the most outstanding view spot of entire trek. Crossing the ridge of Saraswati Kund, the first of some lakes devoted to special divinities. Gosaikund is actually the third lake, the sacred set of Hindus and Buddhist. The lake sits in a tranquil atmosphere.

Day 09: Langtang to Kyanjing Gompa (3870m).
Day 10: Kyanjing to Lama Hotel (2470m).
Day 11: Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2200m).
Day 12: Syabru to Sing Gompa (3300m).
Day 13: Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda Lake (4320m).
Day 14: Rest day at Gosainkunda Lake (4320m) and explore.
Day 15: Gosainkunda to Ghopte (3300m).
Day 16: Ghopte to Melamchigaun.
Day 17: Melamchigaun to Tarke Gyang.
Day 18:  Trek to Sermathang (2,610m), 3/4 hrs.
Day 19:  Trek to Malemchi Bazaar, Drive to Kathmandu, 3/4 hrs trek, 2 hrs drive.
Day 20:  Farewell Friend (Departure).
Day 01: Kathmandu arrival.
After onset to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel by the representative of Gorakhakali Travel and Tours. You will be briefed about the plans trekking. You have a free afternoon in the hotel you can relax.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1467m).
Today, we travel from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1467 m.) passing through Trishuli (Nuwakot) which takes about eight hours to reach to Syabrubesi where we will stay overnight at hotel. You move ahead north out of Kathmandu driving through striking foothills and ridgeline Vista to Syabrubesi passing through Dhunche. While passing along the road at the bank of Trishuli River you catch a glance of Ganesh Himal and green hills. As you pass through Dhunche, you experience as if you are following a bottomless land.

Day 03: Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2238m).
This morning, our path continues all the way through the filthy and crisscross route to the west upward to Bahundanda. After that, we will walk via the community of Gatlang, located on the Tamang Heritage Trek trail or we can even trek to Gatlang by a path of Chawatar. Gatlang is one of the popular Tamang villages well-off in culture and craftsmanship.  Parvati Kunda, the well-liked place visited especially during Janai Purnima is the holy pond and close by temple lying above the village. After finishing around 6 hours trek, we will stay overnight in Gatlang today.

Day 04: Gatlang to  Tatopani (2607m).
Taking around 3hours, we will reach Tatopani walking ahead from Gatlang (2607m.). We will then move to Tatopani, you take pleasure in seeing the scenery of Langtang range as well as Ganesh Himal. Tatopani in Nepali exactly means 'hot water'. We continue downhill to the lowest valley on the earth to the town of Tatopani (hot water) where we can enjoy cleansing ourselves in the hot springs by the stream. Overnight in Tatopani.

Day 05: Tatopani to Thuman (2338m).
On this day you will walk for around 5 hours to arrive at Thuman (2338m.) from Tatopani through Nagthali (3165m.) and then Bimthang. We can view animals like monkeys, deer etc. The interesting view of Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Kerung Sanjen range can be noticeably experienced from Nagthali. Nagthali is a popular meditation hub for the local priests and monks. Thuman, a traditional village is popular for its Shamanic rituals and a striking sight of Langtang. Overnight in Thuman.

Day 06: Thuman to Briddim (2229m).
Passing all the way through Lingling, we take a trip from Thuman to Briddim (2229m.) taking around 7 hours. This day you can observe Tibeto-Burman Tamang way of life on the way. You can understand village life of Briddim. In addition, you can take pleasure from cultural show carried out by community members. Briddim is a Tibetan Buddhist community and the culture and tradition of Briddim strongly be similar to that of near Tibetan villages. Overnight in Briddim.

Day 07: Briddim to Lama Hotel (2470m).
On this day, our route will follow the Langtang River. Also, we will pass through the dense woods.   Cross a number of suspension bridges. We also go by few tea houses.  The track goes up and about and moves down but the way is trouble-free. As the final point for today, we will reach Lama Hotel.

Day 08: Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley (3430m).
On this day we will trek for around 7 hours to reach Langtang Village from Lama Hotel. Our trail continues all along thick forests. After walking on a steady way up through the valley, we depart from the tree line at our back. We will enjoy the amazing scenes of Langtang Lirung.  Also, we will pass by prayer wheels, water mills, chortens etc. Overnight in Langtang Village.

Day 09: Langtang to Kyanjing Gompa (3870m).
We will depart from the village and pass all the way through yaks ‘grazing land.  Also go by the main mani wall in Nepal, prepared from stone with the words of prayers written on it. We will go across several wooden bridges. To conclude the trek for today, we will reach Kyajin gompa. As we are reaching high altitude, we might begin sensing the thin air. Overnight in Kyajing Gompa.

Day 10: Kyanjing to Lama Hotel (2470m).
Taking approximately six hours we will walk ahead from Kyangjin to Lama Hotel (2470m) today. From Kyangjin we will go back over the route, following the Langtang Rivers to Langtang village and then to Ghora Tabela. After having our lunch, we will continue the perpendicular fall to Lama Hotel. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

Day 11: Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2200m).
On this day, you go on walking over to Thulo Syabru. With a steep trail all the way through forests to quickly have a sight of Syabru and its extensive region of millet terraces. A bulging path brings you to this beautiful village where each home is situated above its neighbor, in a long range. It’s a huge place to wander about, catching glances of Tamang life. Overnight in Thulo Syabru.

Day 12: Syabru to Sing Gompa (3300m).
From Thulo Syabru today it is a sheer escalate through forests of fir, oak, and rhododendron to the apex of a ridge. From here we will have a small way down to Sing Gompa. We will also go to a Buddhist monastery and then a small cheese factory. Overnight in Sing Gompa.

Day 13: Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda Lake (4320m).
From here the pathway tenderly moves up the peak edge with uncovered trees. After going across the ridge, you will go by a forest occupied by moss and fern. While you arrive at to Lauribinayak, we will see a spendthrift view of Dhaulagiri, Ganesh Himal, Annapurna and Langtang Lirung. It is the most outstanding view spot of entire trek. Crossing the ridge of Saraswati Kund, the first of some lakes devoted to special divinities. Gosainkunda is actually the third lake, the sacred set of Hindus and Buddhist.

Day 14: Rest day at Gosainkunda Lake (4320m) and explore.
Gosainkunda is considered as one of the Hindu holy places and is supposed to be devoted to Lord Shiva. The Buddhist-Tamang people residing nearby also adore the holy spot as their sacred place. On full moon nights every August, a lake is packed with pilgrims. The lake sits in a tranquil atmosphere.

Day 15: Gosainkunda to Ghopte (3300m).
Passing all the way through 3 more small lakes, our path today climb and ascend and cross Laurebina La after the pass, the path then will move downward to Phedi and you will persistently ascend and descend while going across the rock-strewn hill filled with pine, rhododendron trees. Overnight in Ghopte.

Day 16: Ghopte to Melamchigaun.
On this day, we walk down from Gopte until you go into a cave and carry on through the wooded area on the edge repeatedly climbing up and falling down. Whereas you will reach the top of the rocky path, Kharka was bordered by Rhododendrons, make a calm climb towards the ridge to reach to Tharepati village (3597m). From here, the trail descends downhill through a forest to reach Melamchigaun (2560m).

Day 17: Melamchigaun to Tarke Gyang.
On this day, our way slides downward to traverse Melamchi River then go up all the way to reverse ridge of Tarke Gyang which is exactly same height. This community is to some level larger and more profit-making and its inhabitants are well-known for selling Thangkas. We will move down sensing the fall of elevation considerably, around 1500 m. Overnight in Tarke Gyang.

Day 18:  Trek to Sermathang (2,610m), 3/4 hr.
We traverse tiny forest with the sight of the stunning village of Helambu area. The track makes a sweep up around the broad valley end flanked by Parachin and the beautiful Sherpa community of Gangyul. The inhabitants of this community practice Drukpa Kagyu Buddhism which is the national religion of Bhutan. We will trek further to reach Sermathang. Overnight in Sermathang.

Day 19:  Trek to Melamchi Pul Bazaar, Drive to Kathmandu, 3/4 hrs trek, 2 hrs drive.
On our last day of the trek, we stroll down to Melamchi Pul Bazaar with a lot of Sherpa village. From the Bazaar, take the bus to Katmandu. Returning back to the capital, we will move to our hotel. We can do some shopping in Thamel or we also have options for going around Kathmandu for sightseeing which we have missed on the 2nd day of our trip. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 20:  Farewell Friend (Departure).
Today you will head off from this wonderful Himalayan homeland, Nepal.  We look forward to meeting you again.
