The Jiri to Everest Base Camp trek, one of the popular trekking paths will let you walk all the way through several of the most magnificent mountain landscape on earth. The sight of mighty Mount Everest visible from Tengboche Monastery is wonderful. From the top of the Khumbu Valley, Kala Patthar there is an appealing close view of Mount Everest. In addition, the Khumbu Glacier Icefall offers an arresting sight; the ice seems to leap from the apex of the Khumbu valley.

The setting of Jiri to Everest Base Camp trek was secluded traditionally by its Buddhist population, and currently, it is done by the Sagarmatha National Park. On this day, you can still see the extraordinary the impedance pheasant, musk deer, and a lot of more local species secluded by the park. We will walk through the Solukhumbu and Gokyo areas. The trek actually follows the trail of the medieval trans-Himalayan business route founded by the Sherpa inhabitants. We will walk all along the Khumbu Glacier and walk up to Everest Base Camp at 5365 m. The sight of the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp is wonderful. Significantly, hiking to Kala Patthar is the most easier than a done experience yet gratifying day of the trek.  We will climb up to Mt. Kala Patthar, a small crest at 5555meters. The climb is demanding but the hiker gets the most glorious mountain landscape: Everest, the highest peak on the earth at 8848 m, towers straight to the front and on all sides appear the other missives- Nuptse, Chagatse, Pumori, Lhotse and innumerable others.

Day 19: Trek 7-8 hrs to Lukla
Day 20: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 21: Leisure day and farewell dinner in Kathmandu.
Day 22: Transfer of your final flight departure.
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu (1,300m)
After onset to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel by the representative of Gorakhakali Travel and Tours. You will be briefed about the plans trekking. You have a free afternoon in the hotel you can relax.

Day 02: Kathmandu
After having breakfast, we have sightseeing around Kathmandu city.  You will visit Swayambhunath Stupa well-liked as ‘Monkey Temple’ and here we can see an eye-catching view of Kathmandu valley from the hillock.  Visiting Pashupatinath temple, renowned as Hindus most holy temple is an additional mark to walk around in Kathmandu. And, getting a glimpse of famous places for art and architecture recruited in UNESCO World Heritage List like Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square will be the important one. After accomplishing the sightseeing plan, our qualified and trained guide will brief you about the trek. Also, you will be prepared with all the essential equipment for trekking. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive to Jiri by bus 1,905m, 7-8 Hrs
We will today drive to Jiri taking around 7-8 hours. The almost 200-kilometer trip offers stunning panoramic views of the eastern Himalayas - Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa etc. After a striking drive from the Kathmandu valley, we will get to the village of Jiri, which is the final spot for today before continuing our trip to the Khumbu valley. Overnight in Jiri.

Day 04: Trek to Bhandar 2,200m, 7-8 Hrs
Today taking around 7 to 8 hours, we will reach to Bhandar walking away from Jiri. The landscape after departing from Jiri is much varied than you experience in the elevated region in the Khumbu. The track is framed by profound forests and frequently busy with trekkers and porters moving to and from the peaks with goods for expeditions to the top of the valley. Overnight in Bhandar.

Day 05: Trek to Sete 2,645m, 7-8 Hrs
From Bhandar we will today trek for around 8 hours to reach Sete. Our trail goes on moving downward to Likhu River. Trekkers frequently see an extensive variety of flora and fauna on the way, including gray langurs; also a group of monkeys often can be spotted in the trees profound in the valley. Overnight in Sete.

Day 06: Trek to Junbeshi 2,675m, 7 Hrs
One of the fascinating parts of the trek is walking through the rhododendron, birch, magnolia tree forests which envelop the Solukhumbu area. From the woods, the track we will ascend to Lamjura Pass at (3,500m), where you notice Mt. Everest for the first time. After taking a rest at the pass, we move down to the striking Sherpa village of Junbeshi. We will today trek for around 7 hours. Overnight in Junbeshi.

Day 07: Trek to Taksindu La 2,800m, 6-7 hrs|
We will trek to Taksindu from Junbeshi today. We will walk over several edges and traverse the Junbeshi River, going all the way through the community of Phaphlu. As we traverse through the village of Parting lying at 2,980m, you will have the additional enticing view of Everest, as well as Thamserku (6,623m), Mera Peak (6,476m) etc. Overnight in Taksindu la.

Day 08: Trek to Khari-Khola 2,020m, 6 Hrs
We will walk ahead from Taksindu La and pass the village of Nuntala, the track today goes down until it goes across the Dudh Koshi with headwaters elevated in the Himalayas. After we traverse via a suspension bridge, we climb through more than a few Sherpa as well as Rai villages before reaching the Khari River village. After trekking for around 6 hours today we will stay overnight in Khari Khola.
 
Day 09: Trek to Puiyan 2,700m, 5-6 Hrs
On this day, we will depart from Khari Khola to reach Puiyan taking around 6 hours. We will carry on walking up the Dudh-Kosi valley, all the way through rhododendron woods until we arrive at the village of Puiyan. Overnight in Puiyan.

Day 10: Trek to Phakding 2,646m, 5-6 Hrs
On this day we will depart from Puiyan and descend towards the Dudh Koshi River where we connect the key track to Namche Bazaar, situated just on top of Chaunrikharka (2713m). We will have an easy walk and after walking through the small community of Ghat (2550m), we will further have a short walk to reach Phakding. Overnight at guesthouse in Phakding.

Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar, 3441m, 6-7 hrs
We will today trek for around 6 hours to reach Namche Bazaar from Phakding. We go on trekking alongside the Dudh Koshi, going across this magnificent river several times on thrilling suspension bridges loaded with prayer flags. After going to the Sagarmatha National Park, the track climbs up letting us witness the spectacular views. Namche Bazaar recognized as the doorway to Everest includes many quality restaurants, lodges, hotels, shops, money exchanges, bakeries, internet cafes etc. Namche is one of the major villages all along the whole Everest trail. Overnight at guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.

Day 12: Acclimatization day- Trekking around Namche Bazaar
We will rest for today with the intention of acclimatizing and adjusting to the air at higher elevation. We can also have a short trek and encounter with the traditional way of life of the Sherpa inhabitants. Today we trek up to the Syangboche Airport from where we can see gratifying views of the Himalayas with spectacular sunrise and sunset above the scene of Khumbu peaks. Overnight at guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.

Day 13: Trek to Tengboche, 3860 m, 5-6 Hrs
The trek will move all along the speeding up Dudh Koshi with wonderful views of the peaks. We will move to an elevation of 3860 m today. After reaching Tengboche, we will observe the local monastery. Surrounded by the monastery are extremely ornate wall drapes, a 20-foot monument of Buddha, and the melodic instruments and fine clothes of the Lamas. We will also observe a prayer ceremony. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 14: Trek to Dingboche, 4400 m, 5-6 Hrs
From Tengboche, we will walk down to Dingboche and go across another stirring suspension bridge above the Imja River, and mount to Pangboche surrounded by a lot of mani stones. Our climbing continues, which as a final point for today will take the picturesque traditional Sherpa community of Dingboche with its superb views of Island Peak, Lhotse, Ama Dablam etc. Overnight at guesthouse in Dingboche.
 
Day 15: Trek to Lobuche, 4915 m, 5-6 Hrs
Today, our path continues all along the side moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and goes by stone memorials for mountaineers who have given up their life on close by summits. We go on climbing as we are moving to the elevation of 4910 m at Lobuche which includes only a few huts at the base of giant Lobuche Mountain. We might have breathing problems today because of the height of sea level. Overnight at guesthouse in Lobuche.

 Day 16: Trek to Gorak Shep and back to EBC (Everest Base Camp), 5363 m, 5-6 Hrs
This is one more difficult day walk all along the Khumbu Glacier and walk up to Everest Base Camp at 5365 m, the nearby you can reach to Mt. Everest without mountain climbing equipment. The sight of the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp is wonderful. We will return back to Gorak Shep. Overnight at guesthouse in Gorakshep.

Day 17: Ascent to Kala Pattar 5545 m and descent 5hrs to Pheriche, 4200m
Hiking to Kala Patthar is the most easier than the done experience yet gratifying day of the trek.  We will climb up to Mt. Kala Patthar, a small crest at 5555meters. The climb is demanding but the hiker gets the most glorious mountain landscape: Everest, the highest peak on the earth at 8848 m, towers straight to the front and on all sides appear the other missives- Nuptse, Chagatse, Pumori, Lhotse and innumerable others. We make a speedy drop to Gorak Shep, a tiny village at 5180 m then trek downward to Pheriche. Overnight at guesthouse in Pheriche.

Day 18: Trek hrs to Namche, 3441m, 6-7
From Pheriche, today we will take a little different way down to Orsho, after that trek to Pangboche village. Here we can find the age-old monastery in the area which holds supposed scalp and skeletons of a 'Yeti', or the offensive snowman. We will leave behind the mountains and descend to reach Tengboche Monastery at the altitude of 3860 m ahead of continuing back to the settlement of Namche Bazaar at 3441m. We get there back to Namche Bazaar in the afternoon. Overnight at guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.

Day 19: Trek 7-8 hrs  to Lukla
Finally, we go back to Lukla where the walk began, which will give the impression like a lifetime ago; having time to reflect on the walk as a group and the individual achievement of accomplishing the trek. Overnight at guesthouse in Lukla.

Day 20: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
With the last sight of the mountains you have lately visited from the 35-minute picturesque flight, we will return back to Kathmandu. Returning back to the capital, we will move to our hotel. We can do some shopping in Thamel or we also have options for going around Kathmandu for sightseeing which we have missed on the 2nd day of our trip. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 21: Leisure day and farewell dinner in Kathmandu.
It's also an extra day set aside in case of bad climate in Lukla. The day is all yours; you can go around Kathmandu for shopping. In the evening, with G.K. Majestic Trek, we will have a farewell dinner in a customary Nepalese restaurant with enriching performances. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 22: Transfer of your final flight departure.
Today you will head off from this wonderful Himalayan homeland, Nepal.  We look forward to meeting you again.
